Kyogo Furuhashi has thanked the near 60,000 Celtic fans that welcomed him back into action this afternoon.Â
After more than three months out of action due to a hamstring injury the striker got a 20 minute run as the hoops demolished St Johnstone 7-0 to move another step closer to lifting the SPFL title.Â
With Giorgos Giakoumakis picking up a first half injury the return of Kyogo could be perfectly timed as Celtic wait for the verdict on the muscle injury suffered by the Greek internationalist.Â

There was no scoring return for Kyogo but being out on the pitch again is a big step in his return to full fitness.Â
Ange Postecoglou resisted the option of including the striker at Ibrox last week but with one game another batch of training behind him it looks like Kyogo can play a big role in the final weeks of the season.Â
