Kenny Macintyre has tried to brush aside Ange Postecoglou’s post match criticism of the BBC Scotland reporter.
Celtic’s 4-1 win over Hearts means that their points total can’t be bettered, if Dundee United take a point or more from Ibrox tomorrow the title race is over, if they lose a draw for Celtic at Tannadice on Wednesday would settle the issue.
Presented with those scenarios in a negative light Postecoglou wasn’t slow to bite back at the negativity of the BBC man who tweeted in February that he is a Rangers fan.
This guy has been a fantastic addition to Scottish football.
Keeps you on your toes, but great to deal with. https://t.co/VIFHls66ln

Postecoglou very quickly sussed out the ways of the Scottish media where virtually no-one will admit to supporting either of the Glasgow clubs in the SPFL Premiership.
Clubs around the city are fine to declare an allegiance with but admitting to being green or blue seems to be one of the big taboos.
Macintyre is most certainly blue- and seems assigned to being the trackside reporter at a high number of Celtic matches for the state broadcaster.
Rangers are my team, never hidden that. Be strange to have someone working on Sportsound that didn’t support a team.
As for Kris Boyd. I know at times he is a wind up merchant, but he talks up our game. Would he be in the Sky studio tonight if he wasn’t such a big personality?
