Anthony Joseph has tweeted an update on Celtic’s transfer activities suggesting that the signing of Jota is just a matter of timing.
The 6pm Friday announcement that Cameron Carter-Vickers had signed a four year contract was greeted with delight yesterday- if/when Jota does the same there will be an explosion of joy across social media from Celtic fans.
There are no fresh names on the tweet from the Joseph but after Sky interviewed Ange Potecoglou yesterday and broke the news about Harry Kewall it is fair to say that the tweet will be close to the action.

Being on the lookout for a new defensive central midfielder is interesting- and probably bad news for James McCarthy and Yosuke Ideguchi who were both signed last season.
Bringing in someone in that position could have a double impact by allowing Callum McGregor to push into a more advanced position and resume pinging in 20 yard shots that were a feature of his play in his first few seasons as a Celtic player.
