Celtic’s tranquil transfer window took a jolt last night with a tweet from Fabrizio Romano.
Last summer was one of the most traumatic ever with wholesale changes throughout the summer as Ange Postecoglou overhauled the squad that he inherited.
Rumours and hard news was constant throughout- right up until the final day when Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie departed with Jota, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Cameron Carter-Vickers arriving at the club.
No mass exodus was expected this year but on the back of impressive performances for Croatia in the Nations League it seems that interest in Josip Juranovic has picked up.
The defender missed the last month of the domestic season but before that he had looked a complete natural at right-back and more than competent at left-back.
Juranovic signed a five year contract when he arrived last August from Legia Waraw but 18 months after joining Celtic from Manchester City Jeremie Frimpong left for Bayer Leverkusen.
There is unlikely to be any official comment coming out of Celtic but it would only be natural if the club started to look at other options at right-back even though Tony Ralston finished the season in that position.

I just hope we have another RB scouted and the club ready to make this a swift transfer instead of dragging it out all summer and finding a replacement last minute.

Got to pray he doesn’t have a release clause in his contract. If not then we can ask Tierney money for him as we finacially don’t need to sell at the moment. Not that anyone will offer that at the moment. Needs to be playing well consistently for Croatia and in the CL.
