After playing a major role in delivering last season’s SPFL title Carl Starfelt had to take a back seat as Callum McGregor unfurled the league flag.
The Swedish defender is on the comeback trail after being injured on international duty at the end of last season but was spotted in first team training on Friday.
While his team-mates accepted the thanks of the fans Starfelt had to sit today’s match out but his view from the Directors Box gave him an impressive panorama of the full stadium Tifo.

It was as impressive as you will find for a daytime match, with five weeks to go until the Champions League gets underway Starfelt will be looking to get back onto the pitch to play a fuller part in future celebrations.
