Linfield’s Champions League dream is over for another season with the Belfast club denied a trip to Celtic Park in the group stage.Â
Leading 1-0 from the first leg at Windsor Park David Healy’s side were pumped 8-0 tonight by Bodo Glimt to round off the celebrations for their world record 56th league title win.Â
After the first leg there were a few smug comments from Ibrox fans about their Belfast Brothers, tonight reality set in with the Norwegian champions showing their class against Healy’s mob.Â
Bodo will now play Malmo or Zalgaris in the third qualifying round draw as they edge towards the Champions League group stage or the consolation of group stage football in the Europa League.Â
Linfield will now drop into a play-off for the Europa League with the loser dropping into the Conference group.Â

FT: Congratulations to @Glimt who progress in the #UCL with a 8-1 aggregate win.
A tough night for us playing 70 minutes with ten men but you have to tip your hat to a classy side who scalped some European giants last season.
We drop into the @EuropaLeague – opponent TBC

It’s unfortunate that these inbred knuckledraggers will be in Europe until Cristmas like their twin bigot brothers from Ibrokes! Thanks to Bodo/Glimt the Belfast Bigots are out on their arses!
