Kemar Roofe is apparently in high demand from teams in League One..
The striker has two years left to run on his lucrative Ibrox contract but isn’t expected to play again until September due to continuing injuries.
With just over a week to go until the Champions League qualifier against Union SG Giovanni van Bronckhorst is pinning his hopes on Antonio Colak rediscovering his goal touch while transfer guru Ross Wilson tries to put an injury prone striker elsewhere.
The Sun reports:
KEMAR ROOFE is attracting interest from Sheffield Wednesday.
SunSport transfer expert Alan Nixon has revealed that the Owls are the latest English club to consider a potential move for the Rangers striker.
Fellow League One side Derby County were previously linked with a loan switch for Roofe.
However, SunSport understands that move was a non-starter with the 29-year old firmly remaining a part of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s first team plans moving forward.
Meanwhile…
Don’t think either club could go anywhere near those numbers https://t.co/Ier5iz87Iq

Roofe is believed to be on a basic wage of more than £40,000 per week following his lucrative move from Leeds to Anderlecht then onto Ibrox as the Belgian side cut their losses.
Why would any club buy or loan an injured, unfit striker. Same with trying to sell El Duffalo. Massive gamble.
