The Celtic Symphony was blasting off the walls of the Away Dressing Room in Mura last night as St Pat’s celebrated a famous European victory in Slovenia.Â
With Sligo Rovers seeing off the ‘challenge’ of Motherwell to complete the job started at Fir Park last week it was a great night for the Irish in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.Â
Going to Slovenia after drawing 1-1 at home the odds weren’t in favour but on loan West Ham keeper Joe Anang was on his game as he took the tie to extra time and onto penalties.Â
Anang saved twice in the shoot out before Tio Cipot sent his penalty into orbit with the victory anthem clearly inspired by a few Celtic fans in the St Pat’s squad.Â
