Watch the Livingston ‘goal’ mysteriously disallowed by Don Robertson

Livingston appeared to have a perfectly good equaliser disallowed in their opening day defeat in the SPFL.

After taking a fifth minute lead the home side were left trailing after two quick goals from Scott Arfield and James Tavernier.

Despite being under the cosh for most of the second half Livi were able to cause problems to the Ibrox defence with John Souttar hauled off after 65 minutes of a nightmare debut. The Scotland star was the definition of rag-dolled.

With 10 minutes left to play Don Robertson came to the rescue of the Ibrox defenders as a bread and butter throw in caused havoc.

Connor Goldson went up with his arms flapping and got nowhere near the ball, Ayo Obileye’s presence scared the life out of Jon McLauglin with the Livi defender poking the ball into the net after his initial effort hit the woodwork.

Referee Robertson was taking no chances, he blew early for a free kick with Sky Sports helping out by not showing a replay of the incident.

Last season Calum Butcher and Mouhamed Niang were given retrospective red cards for attacks on Celtic players that Robertson decided were only worth yellows.

Unbelieveable! If that’s the standard Scotland is at, you’ve got to wonder! I switched over to the England vs Sweden game the other night and was just in time to see the Swiss ref blow for an England free kick on their by-line after the Sweden player dribbled past her and she tripped over her own two feet! Minute 27!

Blatant cheating on day one. Might as well start the way you mean to go on.

VAR won’t stop the cheating by the establishment.

Was in the car listening to Clyde when goal was disallowed: not one of the commentators could say why the goal was disallowed, but they stressed that “as the ref blew early”, then he must have seen something!

Also, the body language of the sevco players is rather telling: they all walked away as though it was a good goal, heads down.

Don’t understand the muted reaction from the Livi players though…

And the BIG FIX is on LOL all you daft BENNYS showing up every week to watch a RIGGED game stop complaining about it and get to the back of the bus or stay away and BOYCOTT the games until the club and board get the message.

Celtic PLC should put an official complaint in to the SPFL, the SFA and the LRA simultaneously. Whilst we were not involved in the game, the outcome is intended to hurt us by cheating. We all know it goes on and has done as far back as I can remember but you NEVER get used to this shit. Celtic PLC cannot be ignored if they just ‘grow a pair’ and take the action that can put this under the spotlight and at least make it much harder for the Scottish football hierarchy to get away with. I’m not really one for statistics but I’m told ‘@Celtic by numbers’ is excellent with them and maybe he could put pressure on the PLC Board to take action. He’ll certainly have the backing of most Celtic FC supporters.
BTW, If Lawwell is allowed to return, I’m finished, it really would be the ‘final nail’ for me.
