Giorgos Giakoumakis is back in training and available for tomorrow’s League Cup tie away to Ross County.

The striker was posted missing from Sunday’s match away to Dundee United with Ange Postecoglou explaining that he had reported unwell.

At Tannadice the goals flowed with Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada both netting hat-tricks as the team racked up an impressive 9-0 win.

Celtic’s schedule is about to get much much busier with Giakoumakis looking like a likely start in Wednesday’s cup tie.

Everyone pulled up fine from the weekend, obviously Joe (Hart) had a quite a few stitches in his head, that was probably the main thing to come out of the game.

Everybody else pulled up really well, Giako is back, he trained today and yesterday so I’ve got a fully fit squad. I will make some changes tomorrow, I’m not sure how many but it’s about putting out a team to take us to the levels of performance to win a difficult game.

Postecoglou has plenty of options to make changes tomorrow night but as he knows from recent experience Ross County don’t give goals away cheaply on their home patch.

Although the mantra is always one game at a time the Celtic boss is certain to have an eye on the Glasgow derby and Real Madrid clash when he is picking his side.

Josip Juranovic, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Greg Taylor have started every match, all three played 90 minutes away to Dundee United with options available to give them a minor break ahead of two huge fixture over less than four days.
