Ange Postecoglou has given a vague outline of his transfer targets in the closing 16 days of the summer window.

Over the course of three transfer windows the Australian has rebuilt his squad with two players available for every position in the side.

Despite costing £3.5m from Argentinian side Lanus, Alexandro Bernabei has still to make his competitive debut but Postecoglou is still looking for further depth in his squad.

Celtic are on a 35 match unbeaten run in the SPFL but with the Champions League group matches less than a month away the hoops boss is still on the hunt for more signings.

Picking up on his post-match interview with Radio Scotland, the Daily Record reports Postecoglou saying:

We are probably looking at people to round off our squad. I still think if we can find a player or two who can play more than one position in the way we play I think that will help us.

It’s not in terms of a specific area, it’s someone who will fit in with the group as well. We have a strong mentality within this group of players and anyone coming in has to have that as well.

There are no areas of the squad with obvious weaknesses, today at Kilmarnock Postecoglou was without Stephen Welsh, Yosuke Ideguchi and Reo Hatate but was still able to name a strong substitute bench with the changes made just past the hour breathing fresh life into the 5-0 win.

I think Postecoglou has done really well, but I think he is going to far with with the transfer market. Although he has been brilliant I think he should stop now. Cheers
