For a couple of minutes at Tannadice it looked like Ben Siegrist was about to make his Celtic debut.
Back in May he had been in the United goal at Tannadice as the title was clinched- now he was on the brink of his Celtic debut followed quickly by a Glasgow derby and Champions League opener against Real Madrid.
After six minutes of treatment Hart recovered, Siegrist went back into the away dug out with the home side paying a helluva price for Steven Fletcher’s challenge on the Celtic keeper.

Whatever went into the official report will certainly be interesting. Celtic have multiple attacking options but they won’t be much wiser about the strengths and weaknesses of the hoops defence.
Saturday’s Glasgow derby may be helpful on that front, hopefully there will be more attacking options for Carlo Ancelotti to study ahead of the big match on September 6.
