An evening with Paul Gascoigne and Brian Laudrup will go ahead tonight at the SEC barely 24 hours after the death of the queen.

Football matches throughout Scotland and England have been postponed across the weekend but a booze up will be held in the centre of Glasgow to celebrate the events of the mid-nineties (except for European matches).

Evenings with Gazza tend to follow a familiar pattern as curious fans turn up in the hope that he sings or says something that offends others.

Thousands of fans have had their weekend plans ruined with flights, trains and hotel bookings effectively wasted, meanwhile the show goes on for a boozy in Glasgow city centre.

With the Celtic v Livingston match postponed hoops supporters won’t get another Saturday match until October 1 when Motherwell are the visitors.
