Giorgos Giakoumakis is the latest injury concern for Ange Postecoglou.
The striker is currently on international duty with Greece but has had a scan on a leg issue.
No issue has been identified by the scan with Giakoumakis missing today’s match against Cyprus due to suspension. His condition will be monitored ahead of Tuesday’s home match against Northern Ireland.
Greek boss Gus Poyet is unlikely to take any chances with the fitness of the Celtic striker ahead of a critical period at club level including four Champions League matches.
? Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis made a scan because he felt a little problem at his leg. Scan didn’t show anything but he will be under check by NT medical team. Anyway, Giakoumakis would not be part of the team today due to cards suspension ?@CelticFC #Celtic #CelticFC

Over the last week the injuries have started to mount at Celtic with David Turnbull and Cameron Carter-Vickers joining Carl Starfelt in the treatment room.
With Scotland playing on Wednesday it won’t be until Thursday afternoon that Postecoglou will be able to put his plans in place for the SPFL match at home to Motherwell on October 1.
