One eagle-eyed Celtic fan appears to have picked up on a flashpoint from Saturday’s Glasgow Derby.

Alfredo Morelos has been involved in a few clashes down the years, after an hour of Saturday’s match he was sent on to replace Antonio Colak with the game a lost cause for the visitors.

The Colombian hasn’t started a match since February, after thigh surgery he has been restricted to cameo roles this season. Against Hibs a fortnight he came off the bench only to be sent off, serving a two match suspension while leaving his team-mates down to nine men.

In the incident above Nick Walsh had already blown for a foul when Morelos and Moritz Jenz jostled for the loose ball. With the Celtic defender having his eye on the ball Morelos cuts across and raises his left elbow towards his opponent.

No red cards were issued on Saturday although Stan Petrov felt that Connor Goldson was lucky to escape punishment for an elbow on Jota.

There has been a lot of fans picked up on this act of thuggery Walsh should have had the balls to deal with it as of other incidents against us, I thought he was supposed to protect players fro mthese types of behaviour.

  • Scud Missile says:

Lol still no sign of auld Shug the mug with his post mortem on that massacre from Saturday.
Also I see in today’s daily sevco Jackass Jacksin the booze jockey talking more bout a £75 million investment from America to sevco rather than the hammering.
Lol the Monday jury had their say on the match but preferred to speak the Real game coming up and them beating us.
Not on the Monday jury for his opinion though was that FUD Gavin Berry this was one of their reporters/journalists that quoted us winning nothing this season,Gavin where are.

  • John McKay says:

Nick Walsh seemed to have missed a lot on Saturday and that’s why he’ll be the new number one referee in the future derby games.

  • mick says:

only if celts and other clubs dont ban these fraud refs fro reffing games home or away involving there players

  • Rob O’Keeffe says:

Compliance officer simply has to watch the incidents that have pointed out and deal with them appropriately.
P.S.Morelos really does need mental health help,he clearly has severe issues

  • Gary Brophy says:

Someone will end up dead with these thugs on the park. Remember the boy fashanu was bad for it and that geordie prick Shearer likes raising the elbow as well. Someone will end up with a cracked windpipe and choke to death. Its down to the manager to cut this shit out. Any player caught during or retrospectively should be handed a 5 or 10 game ban and fined 50 thousand pounds the money could go into the player’s benevolent fund.

    • Seppington says:

Imagine if they actually brought that in? Some hun players would wind up playing about 20 minutes a season at most…if we had non-corrupt referees/compliance officers to correctly enforce those rules, of course…

    • Seppington says:

He could only think of all the pies and burgers being munched in the stands and was filled with rage that he couldn’t fill his belly at that moment!

What a horrible little fud he is.

  • Eddie says:

Agreed Goodson should have seen red. I also think Lundstrom went through Kyogo and should have at least seen a yellow.

    • Anton says:

Totally agree, went in very reckless with a high elbow to make sure he caught kyogo.modern day Terry hurlock. A real danger to players

  • Michael Donohoe says:
