Kenny Macintyre is reported to be responding well to trauma therapy following Liverpool’s 7-1 victory at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
The Sportsound anchor was left in a distressed state as he tried to cover the Champions League humiliation that left most of the staff of BBC Scotland disorientated and in need of expenses claims.
Big Kenny likes to see himself as the hard-nosed reporter that asks the tough questions that others shy away from. When it comes to clubs from Ibrox however he turns into a tubby pussycat, reverting back to favoured questions about dressing room banter and great nights out with the lads.
Neil McCann and Steven Thompson were on hand as part of the BBC Scotland team at Ibrox but even the EBT duet struggled to put lipstick on the pig of a 7-1 hammering in front of a global audience.
Reassuring statement tonight from @BBCScotland regarding @kennymacsport who suffered “deep trauma” at Ibrox last night and had to be carried out on a stretcher 5 minutes from time.

Wait till Kenny hears that last night wasn’t the only 7-1 defeat his beloved Gers have suffered ?. Was Billy McLeod just trying to manage his pain?

Thoughts and prayers, etc. with the big Mullach.
Just as he was recovering from them getting “put down the leagues” too.— Aldo Boot (@bikey99) October 13, 2022
It’s dreadful we have to endure him and Roddy Forsyth. Last nights palpable grief was incredible

Roddy is still in the high-dependency unit. Prognosis isn’t good. He’s not been right since the loss of his £100 worth of shares and debenture in the old club.

I can confirm that Mr MacIntyre responded well to a trip around Larkhall in a bath chair viewing the magnificent painted railings.
While still unable to speak it was noted that his eyes welled with tears.
The rangers blanket he was wrapped in will be raffled after Fridays bingo.— Quinn T. Senshal (@quinntsenshal) October 13, 2022

When VAR finally appears ,it would be appropriate if all its forensic cameras were used as an addition and scrutinize the entire BBC Scotland sport department . The lenses and officials could quite easily remove all of the malignant , incompetent ,inept and biased ,so called commentators! It’s at the stage now where these traits are occurring on a daily basis and are also obligatory without fear of scrutiny .Public money being spent at its most unscrupulous.
Easy answer. Defund the EBC.
Similarly, don’t buy the SMSM Rags or their obsequious broadsheets.
The print industry is swirling around a gigantic plug hole for a reason.
From Politics to Football they serve an agenda that most people, (small ‘p’),
recognise.
Their customers, outside of the Unionist / Monarchist / Establishment Westminster bubble
no longer trust them. So why pay for the dubious privilege of being lied to and discriminated against.
