As well as losing three points to RB Leipzig in the Champions League Celtic could be counting the cost of their defeat in Germany over the coming weeks.
Callum McGregor was substituted by Oliver Abildgaard late in the first half with the sort of injury that naturally draws concern.
The Celtic skipper lost possession on the edge of the RB Leipzig penalty box when he picked up the knock which looked to be in his lower leg.
McGregor chased back the best part of 80 yards but couldn’t prevet the hosts opening the scoring. A few minutes later he went down requiring treatment, soon after he had to come off, something that very rarely happens.
“Looking at it, it doesn’t look good but I’ll wait and see what the doctors say.” ??

On BT Sport Postecoglou mentioned waiting for the assessment of doctors, with 11 more matches to play before November 12 the loss of McGregor for even a couple of weeks could be very costly.
