Giovanni van Bronckhorst has sprung to the defence of Ryan Kent with even the gullible starting to question the ability of the former Liverpool starlet.
Last Saturday’s goal away to Hearts was the first time in 2022 that Kent has found the net in the SPFL with his assist record equally bleak.
While Jota and Liel Abada look good for 20 goals and assists every season at Ibrox they have no-one to get close to those sort of figures.
Other than the usual ‘Leeds swoop for Kent’ stories that surface outside of the transfer windows there seems no interest in the step-over wizard who turns 26 next month.
?? GvB: Ryan [Kent] is an exceptional player with a lot of quality who carries a threat going forward. He needs to work on his consistency and ensure he allows himself to create and score.

Kent’s performance away to Liverpool was so bad that even Ally McCoist and Kris Boyd were forced to comment.
Accounts out soon, need to bum him up for the big clearance sale.
Ryan Kent they would be better with Old Kent Road that would probably describe his value.
They are getting the middle of a doughnut money wise for him.
