On the day that Celtic were fined €15,000 by UEFA over inappropriate banners at the Shakhtar Donetsk match The Green Brigade has launched an appeal to coincide with their Annual Food Drive.
Within an hour of setting up a Go Fund Me page more than £5,000 had been raised from almost 300 donations.
Against Dundee United on November 5 Celtic fans are being asked to bring a bag of food which will be collected then distributed to Food Banks and charities throughout Glasgow. This will be the 10th year of the Food Bank appeal.
The whole organisation of the Food Bank appeal is done by the Green Brigade who will have vans available to take away the food with several collection points highlighted around the Celtic Park footprint.
