Ben Davies has joined the long list of crocked central defenders at Murray Park with the former Preston ace missing tomorrow’s match against Ajax.
With Connor Goldson, John Souttar and Filip Helander missing through injury or not being eligible it means that Leon King and James Sands will be the latest central defensive partnership.
John Lundstram is suspended after four bookings in European matches this season, in Scotland he has had one red and one yellow with the red against Hibs downgraded on appeal.
Can’t remember a worse injury list in my 30+ years of following rangers. “Bad luck” certainly can be involved but with the modern level of sports science surely has to be some reasons/questions about why the team has had so many injuries?!

Davies came into the side at the start of the month but picked up a knock at home to Aberdeen on Saturday forcing him out of the match that could earn the Ibrox side a place in the Champions League record books.
With a goal difference of 1-19 and zero points a defeat will see Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side take a 11-year-old record from Dinamo Zagreb of zero points with a goal difference of 3-22.
I hope they get it. (The record)!
I knew it wouldn’t be long before the excuses started, now we have Rangers claiming to be the most hard hit club in Scotland, regarding injury.
I would agree, they are all spinal injuries, the medical science team can’t find anyone with a spine.
