Giovanni van Bronckhorst is staring at another new defensive partnership against Ajax after Ben Davies missed training this morning.

The former Preston journeyman came off at half-time against Aberdeen on Saturday forcing James Sands to drop back from his regular place in central midfield.

Davies missed training this morning leaving van Bronckhorst to ponder over a central defensive partnership of Leon King and Sands as he tries to avoid a sixth successive defeat in the Champions League.

Definately ruled out are Connor Goldson and John Souttar, Filip Helander wasn’t registered in the UEFA squad with John Lundstram suspended for his fourth yellow card of the season in Europe.

Lundstram has had one yellow card in Scotland plus a sending off against Hibs that was downgraded to yellow on appeal.

Tom Lawrence, Ryan Jack and Kemar Roofe are among the other stars missing through injury.

Oh dear a MAD BENNY on FF has lost the plot,he is all giddy with excitement like a teenage boy looking at a scud magazine, apparently he has the sevco klub at the top of the table by a point and on goal difference just by going on the last 6 games.
The REAL table obviously shows the champions at the top by 4 points and on goal difference, that sevco klan base mob need to stop sniffing the glue.
