Sending off Ibrox players in successive matches was clearly too much for Willie Collum to take on board.
In August the Lanarkshire based official sent off John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos during a 2-2 draw away to Hibs.
Predictably the SFA opted to downgrade the red card given to Lundstram to a yellow as a warning to Collum and other officials.
Back at Ibrox last night Collum saw Fashion Sakala twice kick out at Cammy Kerr. In other circumstances it would be a very obvious red card but with the pressure on Giovanni van Bronckhorst only a yellow card was shown as the Ibrox men hung onto their 1-0 lead to book a semi-final place.

On Friday Collum will be the VAR official for the Hibs v St Johnstone match, the first time that video technology will be used domestically in Scotland.
Collum is a spineless prick, HH
The line up of those refs what a right bunch of ugly c***s.
Seriously, what is the point of having linesmen?
VAR is going to be an unmitigated disaster
