A day before the only Glasgow Derby of this season Barry Ferguson had a reassuring message for Daily Record readers.

Forget Ange Postecoglou winning home and away in the fixture on his way to claiming last season’s title because GIO HAS GOT ANGE SUSSED!

That claim lasted just over 24 hours, after a 3-0 hammering in February van Bronckhorst sent out virtually the same side to be beaten 4-0 by the champions.

Next up came a 4-0 defeat to Ajax and a 3-0 home hammering from Napoli that put the pressure on the Dutchman.

Ferguson flip flopped his opinion every couple of days, a new manager might be a True Blue but if it is another foreigner he clearly needs a good Rainjurz man like Barry or wee Neil McCann.

The next few weeks should be fun as Ferguson and others blow with the wind fearing that Celtic’s lead at the top is only going to increase into double figures.
