After suffering their NINTH defeat of the season the last thing that Ibrox fans wanted from their club’s Twitter account was another bland, underwhelming collection of excuses from a certain Dutchman.
Perhaps if it is Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s last post-match interview the club’s Social Media staff will be able to relax and breathe out again.
In terms of managerial dullness van Bronckhorst is up there with Steven Gerrard for the most predictable sound bites as they deflect any blame away from themselves with players lobbed under the bus.
There was nothing from today’s interview that hasn’t been said after the previous defeats. If it is boring and underwhelming for fans hearing him twice a week it must be excruciating in the dressing room hearing the same delivery several times a day.
Only the lack of funds and an obvious successor is keeping van Bronckhorst in a job, if his side fail to beat Hearts at Ibrox on Wednesday the criticis, and abuse will switch target to the men in the Blue Room of Dignity.

Right I’m no football manager right but… if somethings not working like for instance say… constantly crossing into the box, or constantly taking out swinging corners…would it not be better to change it?? Just my opinion.

That’s plenty. Already know what’s he’s said without even watching it. Same old, same old.

Not even watched it yet and I know it’s going to infuriate me.

For a man who doesn’t like excuses, he fairly throws them in when it suits him.

Less speaking more leaving

Sack him. Or at least communicate with the fans saying yous will back him instead of the constant silence. Communication with fans or I should I say “customers” is shocking.

Thanks for Seville Gio. All the best.

We’ve been saying it for weeks but this HAS to be his last one.
