Moritz Jenz was feeling a lot better this morning according to his partner, Steffani Milan.

The defender appeared to have brushed aside a clash of heads during the first half of yesterday’s narrow win over Ross County.

About five minutes later Joe Hart drew attention to Jenz feeling groggy with Carl Starfelt sent on in the 38th minute.

There is enhanced awareness and concern over head injuries these days, in bygone years applying an ice cold sponge on the face and getting back on with it would be the usual course of action.

Jenz is expected to be in the Celtic squad that travels to Australia for two matches, with Cameron Carter-Vickers on World Cup duty Ange Postecoglou will get the chance to try out other defensive partnerships without his first choice and stand in captain.

After arriving on loan in July Jenz played in all six of Celtic’s Champions League matches.
