Neil McCann has launched an amazing attack on Ryan Kent- accusing the former Liverpool starlet of not smiling enough!
Last night Kent created the only goal of the game for Malik Tillman to secure three points against Hearts to ease the immediate pressure on Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
With Graeme Murty no longer at the club a Caretaker Manager could be required at short notice with McCann using an appearance on RTV to advance his claims for the gig.
Tuning in to the coverage of the win over Hearts, The Sun reports:
When Kent was interviewed by the club’s in-house media after the game he told the cameras he was happy with his performance, and McCann couldn’t believe his ears, or his eyes.
He blasted: “Kent is saying he is happy with his performance, someone wants to tell his face that he is happy.
“He looks really down, I think that is indicative of how the squad are feeling just now. They look a bit flat. don’t they? They probably look as if they need that break to recharge the batteries.”
After beating PSV Eindhoven to reach the group stage of the Champions League Kent’s bonus was subjected to Income Tax and National Insurance deductions.
Unlike McCann there is no suggestion that the one-goal winger is getting £500,000 a year stashed away in an offshore Trust fund.
