Lyndon Dykes has aimed a not to subtle dig at the recently departed QPR manager.

The former Livingston striker played in all 21 Championship matches that Michael Beale was in charge for but is unlikely to be sneaking off to join him at Ibrox.

Dykes once died his hair blue before ma match against Steven Gerrard’s side in a plea for attention but seems to realise that his current club are in a better place to develop his career than a return to Scotland.

Football League World reports:

The Scottish forward has posted an image of himself on Instagram in his club kit, with the song West Connect by Luciano, featuring Central Cee, playing underneath.

The lyrics to the song, which were first highlighted by UpTheRs on Twitter, indicate what the forward may really feel regarding Beale’s sudden departure.

The striker’s former manager has departed for Scottish giants Rangers, having been appointed the replacement for Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

This decision has seemingly not been met too kindly by Dykes, with the lyrics for the song reading: “Gotta keep working. Watch for the snakes, watch for the vermin.”

Beale signed off from QPR with one point from five matches, players tend to develop a sixth sense when management have their eyes on issues elsewhere.
