Ryan Kent seems to be the fall guy for recent Ibrox set-backs with fans turning on the former Liverpool starlet.

With the facts piling up against him on Friday the Daily Record did a deep dig into the stats to award Kent the title of Scotland’s King of the Assisted Assists.

Alas that boost didn’t seem to carry into Sunday’s match at St Johnstone where the home-side laughed off the usual routine of step-overs followed by misplaced shots and crosses.

In the race for the Golden Boot Kent lags behind Greg Taylor and Moritz Jenz.

It isn’t just the Daily Record that can manipulate stats, one Twitter account managed to come up with a heat map of the flying winger and his action areas at McDiarmid Park.
