For 15 minutes Sydney FC gained a new supporter base on the back of a 2-1 victory over Celtic in the Sydney Super Cup.
It has been a bleak couple of months for Ibrox fans as their club entered the Champions League record books and slipped nine points behind Celtic.
Worse than that their board of directors don’t have the funds to pay off Giovanni van Bronckhorst which means that the hapless Dutchman will be in charge at the club AGM on December 6 and nine days later when the SPFL season resumes with a visit from Hibs.
Celtic’s defeat this morning provided a brief moment of cheer then someone inspired by Paddy Power decided to click on SEND from the Sydney Twitter account.
