Andrew Dallas and Kevin Clancy didn’t want to know when St Mirren had a very credible penalty claim in the second minute of yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.

With the pressure piling up on the Ibrox boss the last thing that he needed was a second minute penalty for St Mirren, unbeaten at home this season in the SPFL.

As the ball was being cleared from a corner Jonah Ayunga stretched out to take control when James Sands swiped his leg away. The former American internationalist also decided to fall to the ground with Clancy awarding a free kick against St Mirren.

In the VAR HQ Dallas, who hasn’t refereed at any level this season, decided that it wasn’t worthwhile for Clancy to check it out with the pitchside monitor.

Later on in the match Hugh’s laddie told Clancy to check out an incident involving Ryan Kent, within a minute Tavpen was doing what Tavpen does to quote the manager of Livingston.

Seriously this is not funny any more,we had a laugh previously about VAR and the decisions being taken or made, but this is just BLATANT f*****g CHEATING.
It is going to get to the stage that even 2 or 3 goals being scored in a match against sevco will be getting ruled out just to keep them in the game.
Our board need to take TOTAL control of this and not let go until the masons in black are called out and sacked.

Lol auld Spew Heevins licking the arse of the sevco manager with his article in the Sunday Jail today.
But auld shug the mug still couldn’t resist bringing Celtic into his article, which apparently was only to be about Gio Fanny the failure.

All justified VAR complaints aside you’re having a giraffe claiming that was a penalty. The hun is going to clear the ball and isn’t even aware the lad is coming in from behind. Christ he barely clips the boy’s boot and he goes down like a ton of bricks. It would have been as harsh as anything we’ve had to put up with.

Just because they are incapable of being objective doesn’t mean we should follow suit. There’s enough actual errors to be called out without diluting the issue with this sort of weak pish.

      * my opinion is based on the above clip, I haven’t seen any other angles that might make it look worse but from that one it’s never a pen….

Whether you think it was or wasn’t there’s no denying it certainly shouldn’t have been given as free kick to the huns!

Strange though! Dallas has always been very quick to give penalties just like that one. Maybe the St. Mirren players didn’t appeal vigorously enough!?
