Kris Boyd was almost as much of a laughing stock last night as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Champions League record breakers.

Seated in the Sky Sports studio he watched the latest humiliation coming in from Ibrox and decided that the best way to react was to go with the flow and laugh at himself.

After the big build up Ajax scored in the fifth minute with the rest of the evening turning into the traditional Laugh-at-Boydy script.

Like a village idiot let out for the day the former Kilmarnock striker revelled in his role.

Earlier this season Boyd scorned at the notion that Jota was the best player in Scotland, five minutes from the final whistle last night Alfredo Morelos conjured up a miss that reminded everyone what 10 transfer windows have passed without any interest in the chuky Colombian.

    What a shame, aaaaaah!
And they were all so looking forward to the Final in Istanbul, where I hear the toilets have a particularly good vintage of urinal water to partake of.
Never mind boys, you can concentrate on the league now. ????????????????

Next three games “… They Will Have To Take Nine Points From!” What the heck does that mean? They could lose all three and get Nil Points! If you are just playing for points, football would be a very dull sport. You could almost paraphrase Robert Kelly, in that, if they want the points that badly, then why not just let them have them? Maybe that is all that they want!
Congratulations to Dynamo Zagreb for losing their record!

I mean, there’s Boyd, a pundit, heaping pressure onto those Rangers players with comments like that. They must be under enormous pressure as it is. “Easy For You To Say”, I think someone once said!
