Chris Sutton highlighted the contributions of Aaron Mooy and Daizen Maeda in Celtic’s 4-0 win over Hibs.
Ahead of the match there had been plenty of mentions of Celtic’s patchy record at Easter Road with the home side getting the better of the first 15 minutes. Then Celtic showed their class.
Mooy and Maeda are mostly found on the bench but scored in the 28th and 36th minutes to knock the stuffing out of the home team.
Aaron Mooy with a couple of goals tonight and his all round performance was really excellent. Good competition for places in that central midfield area. Maeda a real handful off the left. A performance of real authority tonight at a tricky venue???

Maeda’s goal was pretty special as he took advantage of a slip from Chris Cadden, raced down the wing then cut inside to drive home an unstoppable shot.
Celtic found a penalty taker when Mooy put then 3-0 up after 58 minutes with Kyogo Furuhashi completing the scoring six minutes later.
The win leaves Celtic nine points and 20 goals better off then their city rivals as they head into Monday’s match at Ibrox.
Cadden did slip – boo bloody hoo – so did Maeda before him and he picked himself up and scored a cracker – go Maeda ??
Some goal! Would you mind repeating that on Monday please, Daizen?
