Celtic killed off any notions that Easter Road is some sort of bogey ground with a 4-0 win in the capital last night.
Ange Postecoglou’s side opened 2022 with a 2-0 win over Hibs at Celtic Park with Daizen Maeda opening the scoring on his debut.
The Japanese star has had some ups and downs over the 12 months since, last night he condensed that into 64 seconds as he headed against the crossbar from close range then popped in a Goal of the Season contender that left the home side and supporters despairing.

Aaron Mooy’s goals weren’t as eye-catching as those of his fellow World Cup Finalist but the Australian delivered an imposing, controlled performance that must put him in strong contention of a starting place at Ibrox on Monday. As a bonus Postecoglou has found a penalty taker.
Kyogo Furuhashi completed the scoring in the 64th minute with a very composed finish, something that he isn’t always associated with. The striker anticipated a pass from Reo Hatate, controlled the ball in his stride, held off a defender then slipped a low shot past David Marshall.
