Ibrox social media influencer Jonny McFarlane has been shown up by Chris Sutton.

The former Celtic striker knows a little bit more about the football business than the Editor in Chief of The Rangers Review and The Celtic Way, Newsquest’s attempts to muscle in on fan media as their old school titles go down the plughole.

In Saturday’s Daily Record Sutton warned that he didn’t want VAR to dominate the action from Ibrox on Derby Day.

McFarlane, whose only contact with football is sharing a nickname with Alfredo Morelos, quickly got upset, defending the match officials who haven’t awarded a penalty against his club in 20 SPFL matches this season.

Strangely in four Champions League qualifiers one penalty was awarded against Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side. In six group stage matches three penalties were awarded in six defeats.

The Rangers Review has been staunchly defending the match officials since Monday’s match, on Sunday Steven McLean, whose brother was a Murray Park starlet, will referee the match between Dundee United and the Ibrox Tribute Act.

I’m actually laughing at the fans here as they are encouraging the CHEATING and CORRUPTION that is going on here.
You all keep giving your money over every week so what makes you think things are going chang while this continues.
The only way for anything to be done is to stay away home and away.

Doesn’t matter how much help THE rangers get from their referee mate’s they still won’t win league, even knowing celtic don’t give up until the final whistle, they still switched off in the last minutes of the match. Ha ha ???
