According to Footy Headlines Celtic and Adidas are about to launch what is described as an Icon Retro Kit.
The image used with the story looks a long way off any of the multiple designs that the club has used in the past, apparently the kit, which has no sponsor name on it, won’t be used in a match.
Ange Postecoglou’s squad already has a wide range of training and warm up kit but Footy Headlines reports:

CELTIC 2023 ICON RETRO KIT
This is a prediction of the Celtic FC 2023 icon retro football shirt, made by Adidas.
There is little doubt that the Celtic support like getting kitted out, regardless of the designs that Adidas come up with.
A silver/grey kit that was used away to St Mirren, the only domestic defeat of the season, appears to have been ditched but seems to be popular among supporters.
The current home kit isn’t likely to go down as one of the all-time classic hoops designs but the mainly black with green and white pinstripes second kit has been well received and is very popular among supporters.

Don’t end up like Scotland’s Shame and blow a good chunk of your dole money and welfare on anything with a Sevco badge on it.
There’s a home kit and away kit. End of.

“Retro Icon”???? Aye maybe if we’d had Adidas kits in the 90s they could claim that. It’s a design worn by the scum in Gascoigne’s time, we shouldn’t be adorning ourselves with that…

It’s funny how Celtic and Adidas announce a new retro strip and then 24 hours later the Rangers and C&A store announce an AC/DC themed top for purchase ! Maybe it’s me but it looks like the tribute act can’t see green cheese …..
