Joey Dawson and Ben Summers were on target as Celtic B drew 2-2 with East Kilbride on Saturday.
The result proved costly for both sides with Celtic B slipping from top place in the Lowland League while their hosts are now 10 points behind Tranent Juniors in the race for the title which provides a play-off place against the Highland League winners.
East Kilbride played a very direct game to take the lead through Kyle Connell but a well worked move led to Dawson who showed his initiative to fire home a low shot to equalise from 15 yards after 21 minutes.
The home side got back in front before half-time but on the hour Summers showed good composure sent through on goal to hold off a defender and find the net with his shot.
Celtic had the bulk of possession but were unable to come up with a further goal.
