In just over a month in charge at Ibrox Micky Beale has offered his intelligent opinion on almost everything related to Scottish football.
He used to be an Academy coach at Liverpool and had a 13 match spell in Brazil as an assistant manager before the guy that hired him got sacked.
Beale has incredible knowledge of everything, throw any name at him during a media conference and he can recount matches played at u-14 and u-15 level, he just loves football, talking and most of all talking about himself.
The former QPR boss thinks that he is really smart, he also knows the media game and can discuss in depth any player, especially when he wants to encourage speculation and interest. How clever and cute is he?

It seems that Beale still has some work to do get Ross Wilson to complete his first signing. Two weeks ago the Ibrox boss looked deep into the eyes of prospective signings, unfortunately it takes money to get transfers completed with the war-chest looking thin on the ground for the former Liverpool and Chelsea coach.

The promising manager joined the Reds from Chelsea in 2012, initially becoming responsible for the under-16s side before progressing to become the manager of the under-23s between 2014 and 2017. A rare opportunity arose in January 2017 to serve as an assistant at Sao Paulo in the Brazilian top-flight, however, and saw Beale end his association with the Reds.
This exciting opportunity lasted only six months after taking the difficult decision to step down from his role just six months after his appointment. Beale subsequently returned to the Reds’ Academy set-up in September of the same year to take on the role of head of coaching for players operating between under-5s and under-11s age groups.
