Now well into his eighth season at Ibrox, James Tavernier has picked up two proper winners medals plus an Irn Bru Petroltank Challenge Cup gong in his time.
That England call up has remained as elusive as the big money transfer to an EPL club or West Brom. Fortunately for the family brother Marcus has some ability that is recognised outside of Scotland.
Monday’s Glasgow Derby was a typical performance from the Ibrox skipper, badly exposed at the first goal after a horror pass from Alfredo Morelos but for the second goal he has largely escaped blame.
A look at the video clip below highlights his glittering Ibrox career perfectly.
Tavernier (number 2) is hilarious here.
The wee hand gestures – ‘oops.. sorry… coming through… excuse me… don’t mind if I do… can you see him? Will I…You sure? No thanks, I’ll just walk… who said that? … ahhhh bollocks’ ? pic.twitter.com/vkNedhPrpg

Earlier this season Tav signed a new ‘long term’ contract but as has become the norm at Ibrox no date was put on the club statement. Y’know.
