Anyone buying tickets for Lewis Capaldi’s UK tour has been given advance notice that there may be some Celtic content involved on stage.
Launching news of ticket sales the 26-year-old was wearing his favourite football top with ticket news relayed to his 5.8m Instagram followers. To put that number in context Celtic have 713,000 Instagram followers.
At the moment Capaldi is in the midst of a series of European dates covering Prague, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam and Milan, the sort of itinerary that some Celtic fans chalk up over a couple of seasons.
Some summer UK dates are included covering Manchester, Chepstow, Edinburgh and Belfast with tickets about to go on sale.
Those concerts come on the back of events in the USA and Australia through spring which hopefully will involve some celebrations of events close to home and his heart as Celtic chase more silverware.
