On Saturday Kheredine Idessane was all over it- he wanted to answers from Ange Postecoglou about the favourable penalty Celtic had been awarded against St Mirren.

The incident where the St Mirren player raised his arm to prevent a shot from Liel Abada flying into the net, the one that Steven McLean opted to do a Josh Meekings with before the VAR official saved him as he pointed out the most clear cut of penalties.

Such is the mindset inside BBC Scotland- with Macintyre, English, Thompson, Lewis and Lamont forming the core of their football coverage- that when the correct decision is made they report that Celtic got a favourable decision.

At Ibrox yesterday there were certain decisions that BBC Scotland didn’t want to go near while they gushed over Micky Fair Play Beale following the Malik Tillman goal.

The penalty awarded and missed by James Tavernier was airbrushed over by the state broadcaster- much like the 45 minute shift by Todd Cantwell before he was replaced by Kemar Roofe.

Beale must now decide if he can trust the former Norwich starlet away to Livingston or in a cup final against Celtic.

It’s nice to see the publicly funded national broadcaster ,taking care financially of one of its own yesterday ! Kenny Miller was sacked last midweek in his capacity as assistant coach in Engurland ,yet a few days later he’s being employed to co commentate on his favourite clumpany in the Scottish cup ! Great to see that our licence fee money is being used to its full potential…. Obviously there were no other people available to do the work of Miller ! Almost as if the BBC were keeping his seat warm for his inevitable return …
