Micky Beale’s relationship with the Ibrox board changed markedly today.

While a European run bought Giovanni van Bronckhorst time while he wilted domestically something much more vague has set the clock running against the Dutchman’s successor.

Since the decision to pop in on old friends at The Stadium Bar and Grapes before watching Van Bronckhorst’s side beat Aberdeen Beale has shamelessly been playing to the gallery, racking up staunch points with every action and sound-bite.

Some dreadful performances have been tolerated with VAR coming to the rescue but a new-age manager is never going to be welcome at Ibrox.

Following Malik Tillman’s antics today Beale opted for self-projection rather than playing to the ‘No One Likes Us We Don’t Care’ mentality of a support detached from reality and resistant to the 21st century.

His fawning media buddies have lapped up his incredible act of Fair Play today but the bears inside Ibrox were less than pleased, Allan McGregor wasn’t put up for media duties after the match.

A poll on Follow Follow split fans 50-50 over whether their manager had did the right thing.

When the results go against him Beale will discovered that much of the goodwill that he had built up was wiped out today. The honeymoon is nearing the end with the tide turning against the lovely geezer from London quicker than he finks.

The press running with the headlines a 5 goal thriller at ibrox today as sevco go through,a thriller they cheated their way to the last 8 and the media are talking them up.
It can’t have to many games left in him now and the klan fans are starting to get restless.
But hey the comedy show moves and Big Daddy and his mates like Giant Haystacks will be back next week for more of the hilarity football cheating.

Scottish press will lap this up

Takes the all focus away from how they toiled at home to a team 5th in the Championship

When you snark against injustice, then embrace justice with equal harmony and love of the beautiful game.
In other words do exactly the opposite of what yer Club/ Company proscribes in-house, slippy slope awaits.
    Wonderful gesture, reason suspect.

I read somewhere , his logic was that Tilman has been off injured receiving treatment , which was the initial cause of the ball being put out of play , and didn’t realise it was not just an ordinary throw in taking place , that the ball would be returned to therangers.
Why was he allowed back on the park before play resumed … , another honest mistake ?

Standard from the peepel. If a hot girl with her tee tees out ran across the pitch chucking £50 notes at them they would still be raging! Anger pouring out the glass eye ? they really are a strange bunch

Beale did the right thing, however would he have done same in a match against celtic, If he did I would gladly compliment him, however it would not suit the bigoted hierarchy at ibrox and he would be sacked before end of the match. I now see Beale was thw main man during Gerrards time, ibrox support and dictatorship need to stand by him. Well done Beale for being a man.

Editor: He wants to be loved by all after being exposed as a rat/snake at QPR. Appealing to the media gallery on Sunday hasn’t gone down well with loyal bears that don’t want a new-age manager. Was he the brains behind cup defeats to St Mirren and St Johnstone and to no trophies in front of paying supporters?
