Celtic have announced the departure of Yosuke Ideguchi on a year long loan to J-League side Avispa Fukuoka.
With the midfielder unable to make the Celtic bench in recent months it is likely that if the loan move works out well it will be converted into a permanent deal.
Last week Oliver Abildgaard cut short his loan spell to join Hellas Verona as Ange Postecoglou trims down the numbers in his first team squad.
The hoops boss still has great depth to select from with Tony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, Alexandro Bernabei, James McCarthy and Ben Siegrist unable to make the bench for Sunday’s win away to St Johnstone.

Ideguchi joined Celtic on the same day as Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate but his hoops career stalled almost immediately when he was badly injured in his first start away to Alloa Athletic in the Scottish Cup.
With Aaron Mooy forcing his way into the First XI Ange Postecoglou has six midfielders battling for three places, effectively two spots with Callum McGregor virtually guaranteed his place in the team.
