Chris Sutton has made a fresh attack on Micky Beale over free speech.

The former QPR boss has turned into a staunch-ometer as he fires out the sound-bites and cliches that the Gullible and Deluded hang onto in the absence of winning trophies.

Getting the players ‘suited and booted’, calling Ange Postecoglou lucky and discussing Chelsea’s worst ever player went down a treat on the message-boards and across social media.

Beale is less keen to discuss his own playing career which even Google can’t uncover, when he was asked a follow up question about Sutton after beating Livingston on Saturday the Ibrox boss made a hasty exit.

This morning The Sun reports:

Now, speaking to BBC Radio 5Live, the former striker has made a fresh dig saying ‘he doesn’t like other people speaking’.

Asked if he would be sending Beale a good luck message, Sutton replied that it may be needed.

He added: “Well, he might need it. He needs to win something, doesn’t he?

“Well, it’s the pressure of Glasgow. He’s had a lot to say hasn’t he, Mick? In fairness to him – as a coach he’s had a good start to his managerial career.

“He’s had a lot to say about a lot of things. He believes in free speech, but only his free speech. It’s a little bit undemocratic. I hope it’s a good final.”

Sutton will be part of Viaplay Sports commentary team at Hampden on Sunday.
