Neil McCann doesn’t see Ange Postecoglou walking out on a job that is at best half done.

Over four transfer windows covering 18 months the Celtic squad has been transformed, players reborn, new heroes uncovered with trophies delivered and Champions League football back in the diary.

It has been an incredible turnaround, achieved in a timescale that no one anticipated but as Postecoglou said on Day One of training We Never Stop.

Over the next four months there are very reasonable expectations of more prizes to come with Celtic winning 28, drawing once and losing once in this season’s domestic matches.

McCann has observed Postecoglou from the media gantry and has no doubt that there is much more to be achieved before any other job attracts the attention of the Celtic boss, whether it is Leeds United or anyone else.

Watching McCann discuss the Leeds issue on Sportscene, The Express reports the former Dundee boss saying:

I don’t think it will happen now. Ange never gives anything away and he never gives any oxygen to the fire either. He just kills the questions off very quickly because he’s just there to do a job for Celtic.

You can clearly see he’s got a lot of passion for the club. I would be very surprised if he walked out, even for such a great job at Leeds. I’d be surprised to see Ange walk out on a job that’s half done.

There’s nothing won yet. He’s got the League Cup final, he’s into the quarter-finals of the Scottish and they’ve got a comfortable lead in the Premiership. I don’t think he’ll be rushing away, I don’t see him as that type of guy.

Unless they come with a truck full of money for him and offer him something he wants in terms of football (incentives), because I don’t think he’s driven by money. It would have to be a football thing. Everybody else would like to see him disappear because he’s doing such a good job. But I can’t see him doing it.

Postecoglou remains on the same 12 month rolling contract that he signed when he first joined Celtic in June 2021.

The worst Cup draw possible-meanwhile “they” get yet another easy home draw ! Utterly predictable. Lundstrum got away with 4 yellow cards in last season’s Cup Semi Final and if he’d been red-carded as the laws demand- who would’ve won then ?

The 2-2 draw at Ibrox ?
Never a pen for Sakala and Goldson hand ball not given ! So according to the accepted rules Celtic would’ve won 2-1 or even 3-1 if the Goldson handball had been given.

I AM DEEPLY APPREHENSIVE ABOUT THE IMPACT OF VAR ON ALL CELTIC’S REMAINING GAMES- A ‘RANGERS’ CUP DOUBLE IS A VERY SERIOUS POSSIBILITY AND THE LEAGUE COULD GET VERY TENSE IN THE RUN-IN.

I think Celtic Supps should seriously consider crowdfunding a legal action against the
SFA/SPFL that the Celtic FC are victims of discrimination based on ethnic and religious
hatred which manifests itself in the EXTREME contrast in refereeing decisions involving Celtic FC and their eternal rivals.

GET PROFESSIONAL LEGAL ADVICE AS TO WHETHER SUCH AN ACTION HAS A PROSPECT OF SUCCESS IN THE SCOTTISH LEGAL ENVIRONMENT ??
THIS OF COURSE MUST PROCEED INDEPENDENTLY OF THE CELTIC FC AND ITS TRAITOROUS CHAIRMAN

Editor: The Celtic board, CEO, Chairman are perfectly happy with everything as it stands, it allows their good friends at Ibrox to be competitive without reverting to disguised remuneration scams. Only once Celtic withdraw from their O** F*** love in and start asking questions of the SFA and demanding answers will there be any changes. With Lawwell around that will never happen, the cosy arrangements stay in place and flourish.

That’s why any legal move would have to be independent of Celtic FC. This would embarass the club of course but given my proposal the club could publicly disassociate and claim it was the work of “fanatics”.

You talk of asking questions of the SFA- things are way beyond that. Any forensic analysis of decisions could only lead to one conclusion- chronic BIAS .I really think any competent legal team would have little difficulty in proving habitual bias in court. However this being Masonic Scotland and the inevitability of the presiding judge being a Nimmo Smith type it would leave his Lordship in the embarassing position of denying reality. Needless to say this would cause a furore .The bounce Rangers have got since the advent of Bealeboy has been entirely derived from a conveyor belt of ludicrous supportive decisions. In Germany a ref was sent to prison for “fixing|” games
      – He got 2 years ! I think a persistent lobbying of UEFA could be worth trying ?

I’ve lived in London for 45 yrs and followed Celtic for 65 yrs and I am sick of this shit.Don’t you think that if the various supporter groups combined to persistently update UEFA with the latest absurdities in the SPFL UEFA would have to TAKE NOTICE ? I once wrote to Liam Brady to go public on the issue but he demurred, ditto the Westminster Celtic Supps Club. What the fuck is wrong with these people ? Scared of sour grapes accusations. These fucks at the Lanarkshire Refs Assn need to be put under REAL PRESSURE FOR A CHANGE. the TRUTH is the TRUTH !ADAM

        Great comment.

The case would have to be heard outwith Scotland and no
Scottish Lawyer or Legal Firm would touch it. Too many Neanderthal
Knuckledraggers on the other side only too eager to harass and intimidate
people that don’t ’toe their bigoted and racist line.

I think, as you do, that the Celtic Board have to be ‘Body Swerved’ over
this issue. You only have to look at the treatment they gave to
the supporters/ shareholders pursuing the RES12 case. It was a disgrace.

Would be great if it took off and was co-ordinated with a boycott of SFA Tournaments
plus selective SPFL away fixtures. Get the Green Brigade involved at televised games with
        appropriate banners.

Mass early walk out of grounds or late entry, embarrass the fluck out of the ‘Suits wae Broon Brogues’.
Get the issue raised in Foreign Medjia, Engerlund is included on this one.

Just keep the pressure up. When the MIBS and VARMEN pull their strokes during televised games
mass walk outs should be the order of the day.

Contact all the Sponsors and ask them if they are happy to have their names associated with a corrupt sporting environment.

Take a cue from Ange and the players ‘ We Never Stop’.
