Micky Beale wasn’t his usual sure-footed self when he was quizzed about a Union Bears banner reminding the Ibrox boss of his trophy count.

All week Beale has been singing his own praises over the decision to allow Partick Thistle to equalise after Malik Tillman has taken advantage of the sportsmanship of Ian McCall’s side.

Thousands of fans inside Ibrox booed the decision but surrounded by sycophants a campaign has been launched to bring a FIFA Fair Play Award to Ibrox although supporters brought up on tales of No Surrender are less than impressed.

Reacting to the banners Beale told The Sun:

I wasn’t surprised or disappointed. They pay their money and support the club and when I’m gone they’ll still be here supporting their club so I understand their frustration sometimes.

I fot the right thing was done. We’re through in the cup and we won 3-0 today. We’ve got a lot to be fankful for but I get the emotions. I was a fan before I was a coach.

Conveniently ignoring the fact that they cheated their way to another victory with the usual penalty/ ordering off combo to ensure the points.

    Bealer is a classless slimeball.

  • Scud Missile says:

Get the banner done again next week only this time change the name and put the sevco managers name on it,it’s obviously getting the press backs up and it will certainly upset the klan, and I would imagine another bite from Mr Bean.

Looks like the Union Bears message to the world is that unfair methods at football is part of the Rangers’ DNA ! Win at all costs and by all means humanly and digitally possible ! In other words fair play ,decency ,rules and regulations are for wimps … Not for the Rangers !

It’s building up nicely for next week.

Beale will probably have another go at the ‘mindgames’ [Poundland version],

whilst Ange will just ignore him and focus on our team – mate!

A solid win for us next Sunday will send the foaming bears over the edge.

THAT is when the bears – and everyone else – will see EXACTLY what Beale has got to offer as a manager, when the chips are down. 🙂

    Is the coach damaged ?

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

I thought he was a Chelsea fan before he became their manager – appears not – playing to the Gullibilly gallery once again !
