BBC Scotland have finally released a highly edited version of their world exclusive interview with Micky Beale.
A trailer released on January 21 had the Ibrox boss discussing how lucky the Celtic boss is with Tom English and Kenny Macintyre drooling over the trailer.
Bizarrely the state broadcaster was holding back on the interview until February- after the transfer window had closed.
With the marble staircase a 15 minute stroll from BBC Scotland’s HQ at Pacific Quay it seemed very strange/suspicious timing.
Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin arrived at Ibrox, the wins kept piling up but BBC Scotland for some reason just didn’t want to release their hard fought for Beale exclusive.
??’In the last 12 months he’s spent more than what Steven Gerrard spent in three and a half years’ ?
Michael Beale on what motivated his ‘lucky man’ comment about Ange Postecoglou ??

Now, 24 days into the month BBC Scotland have released, in writing on their website the dullest interview imaginable, focussing on Beale’s incredible route from Charlton youth team reject to the greatest manager in the history of football. The video trailed seems to have been deleted.
The first quotes used by the BBC from Beale are:
“I feel like I know this environment after the three and half years here,” explained the man who served as a coach in Glasgow under Steven Gerrard.
“I’m very comfortable with it. I deal with just trying to be honest and transparent all the time. I try to give [supporters] not the answers they want, the honesty they want. All football clubs could do that a little bit more.”
WOW! Was that worth sitting on for a month?
And it continues:
There is one answer Rangers fans want. One that he will have to answer. How to surpass Celtic and stay there?
“It’s Rangers v Rangers,” he explained to BBC Scotland. “It’s about us driving our standards and getting better every day. We need people that are all in.
“To be all in you’ve got to be happy with your role, you have to have real clarity on your role because I’m demanding that people are relentless in terms of getting better.
“For us, that’s the journey we’ve been on. That’s the journey we’re going on again.”
And then we are onto Beale’s incredible journey.
Having released a month ago a teaser then ditched it you begin to wonder at the full extent of collusion between the Ibrox PR team and the nodding dogs at BBC Scotland.
The BBC have decided not to utilize our licence fee money by showing a highlights show after tomorrow’s cup final . I understand that Viaplay have the rights to the match ,but a deal could have been bought with our money for a highlights programme . Considering the BBC sprung for a NBA basketball match on Friday night at no doubt considerable cost ,the same could have been done for the Sunday cup final Those charlatans at BBC Scotland really do take the yellow water with our money a lot of the time .
Remember that it’s not a criminal offence to be without a licence.
A journey to the 17th Century.
I posted earlier this week they would put the interview out before the final.
Typical I

The journey took a year longer due to the tactical genius of the fish supper cup supremo. Lest we forget
