Micky Beale has been slammed as unprofessional for his recent attack on the state of the pitch at McDiarmid Park.

The gobby Ibrox boss was in his element as he spoke out after the recent 1-0 Scottish Cup win over St Johnstone on what he termed a cowfield.

The pitch at McDiarmid Park is some way short of acceptable but as he plays the respectful and dignity card Beale’s own insecurities are never far from the surface.

Self projection is the name of the game for Beale as he revels in the spotlight after more than 40 years with no interest in his views.

Gus MacPherson is the Director of Football at St Johnstone, making ends meet at St Johnstone with descending down to tax scams or other dubious practises.

Reacting to recent comments MacPherson told the Daily Record:

There was a lot of criticism from the Rangers side after the game here. Personally, I thought that was very, very unprofessional. I did remark on that the following week when we played them at Ibrox.

Over the last decade St Johnstone have won three domestic trophies, the second most successful club in the country.

As he projects himself and plays to the howling gallery Beale is quickly building up enemies looking forward to his demise. With a toxic reputation in England he might be looking for favours from elsewhere when his Ibrox P45 is delivered.
