Having won titles on both sides of the border Chris Sutton wasn’t getting carried away by Celtic’s 5-1 win away to St Mirren.

Back in September Ange Postecoglou’s side suffered their only domestic defeat when they visited Paisley, 1-0 down at half-time after a lame first half and a repeat looked on the cards.

Title winning teams find ways to win, somehow in the 56th minute a grounded Jota found a way to squeeze the ball into the net and Celtic were level.

On day one Postecoglou told his squad We Never Stop, after equalising Celtic found the net four more times to restore their nine point lead at the top with a credit of two added to the goal difference ledger.

There are six matches to be played before the split with April 8 the big one with the third Glasgow derby of the SPFL campaign hosted at Celtic Park.

Winning that fixture could be significant but the only target for Postecoglou and his squad is Wednesday’s visit from Hearts which is followed quickly by a trip to Tynecastle in the Scottish Cup.
