Celtic TV ad a busy weekend as they went Inside Anfield for Saturday’s Legends Charity match.

Normally media access is very tight but with only pride at stake there are some big name interviews with a few blasts from the past that some Celtic fans would rather forget.

John Barnes didn’t bear any grudges as he looked forward to catching up with Paul Lambert, Tom Boyd, Stan Petrov and Harald Brattbakk while Ian Rush was hoping for a repeat scoreline from his testimonial match when Celtic lost 6-0.

Lambert turns into the star of the show, keeping the bleep machine busy as he delivered his pre-match pep talk to a collection of players aged from 35 to 52.

Alas there was nothing that Lambert could do about his home town decisions from the match officials but that didn’t dilute the enjoyment of the 4,000 Celtic fans in the away section or the hundreds of others dotted across Anfield.
