Micky Beale has been forced into an embarrassing U-turn as he discovers the summer budget that he will be working with.

With no lucrative European ties since November and little prospect of Ajax presenting the club with another ridiculous transfer fee Beale will require to be imaginative and creative in his dealings.

Back in January as he discovered an audience prepared to hang on his every word he declared that there would be no more loan signings as he laid down long term plans for a dynamic new template of how Beale-ball will look.

Two months later with the reality of the company finances suggesting that there will be little to be spent in the summer he has changed his tune.

On January 18 the Daily Record reported Beale saying:

I’ve made a rod for my own back there saying there would be no loans, but I don’t think that is right for the club long term.

That would be saving myself, if you like. I could go and get some quick fixes that make my record a bit stronger between now and the end of the season but don’t take Rangers any further forward and actually, in the short term, probably costs us quite a lot of money.

This morning The Record are reporting him saying:

Certainly with the salaries we have going out at the end of their contracts we have salaries and also some finance to bring in.

There are a lot of good players out there who are available on loan, as well, if you want to go down that route. Malik Tillman was one this year who has come in and been one of the better players in the league.

Tillman will cost £5m to sign on a permanent basis, suggesting that he will follow James Sands back to his parent club to explore fresh opportunities.

Bealer baw appears to consist of punting the ball up the park seeking set pieces and penalties from friendly officials as the likes of Kvnt Sakala and Moreloss fall over at the slightest touch or hint of a touch and claim for everything going.

It seems to be working so far, but it isn’t football, or indeed sport, but that has never bothered the huns, who know nothing about the game and care even less.

Beale has been playing Football Manager to much on that Play Station again, giving it I will sign 5 players here and a player exchange there.
All these nioses being made about signing 5 players in the summer without a pot to piss in,the klub he manages has done more tapping than a blind man’s stick.
